St. Löda is a DJ/Producer in the "Underground Music" scene. He combines his skills as a "master selector", songwriter, formally-trained musician, and producer, to create unique and original sounds in the genres of Techno and House music. With an extensive musical background and years of musical education on multiple instruments, St. Löda brings a unique, eclectic, and original sound to any room he plays. With over 20 years of experience performing music from many genres as a DJ and musician across the world, St. Löda will play virtually any venue, giving the crowd exactly what they need in "the moment".St. Löda began his performing and songwriting career at age 13 creating "roots music" on the acoustic guitar and performing regular solo-acoustic gigs around the Midwest United States. Over the years his passion for performance developed into performing with and fronting multiple Rockabilly, punk, jazz, and rock bands, often touring the United States as well as Europe. His formal training as a musician on various instruments, his experience playing music in many genres, and his love of raw music comes through in the beautiful simplicity of the electronic music he creates today. St. Lödas eclectic experience and appreciation of multiple music genres is evident in his live music performance and selection as well. He takes his years of experience as a performer, selector, musician, and producer and packages them together to deliver an energetic performance with captivating atmospheric melodies, underscored by driving beats and "grungy" bass. He delivers a unique, raw, captivating performance blending the best elements of House, Tech House, and Techno. Whether he is warming up the crowd, closing out the night, or headlining an event, St. Löda will please the crowd, get people on the dance floor, and won't disappoint!St. Löda's passionate love of music and appreciation for those creating original material transcends his own performance. In 2016 he started the Podcast "St. Löda Presents", where it's his mission to advance the art he loves, and peoples awareness of creative artists around him by exploring and highlighting their creative processes through interviews and guest mixes. He also publishes the St. Löda blog and website, frequently highlighting bios and backgrounds of artists he is interviewing, playing with, and collaborating beside. With this new-found passion for podcasting and blogging to promote the artists he loves, combine with his passion for live performance, and his continued focus on creating original music, St. Löda is becoming a fast-rising artist and voice in the Underground scene.
